اعداد / أحمد شلبي - أبين بدأت المؤسسة العامة للكهرباء في محافظة أبين بتوليد الطاقة الكهربائية في  محطة جعار اليوم  الاربعاء 26من اكتوبر  بدعم من دولة الإمارات العربية . ودشن التشغيل في محطةجعار الجديدة بقدرة 4 ميجا وات كدفعة أولى حسب ما أعلن عنه الهلال الأحمر الإماراتي  ومؤسسة الكهرباء . وقال المهندس أحمد علي دحه أن المولدات الكهربائية الإسعافية المقدمة من دولة الإمارات والمخصصة لكهرباء أبين بدأت المؤسسة بشغيلها وربطها إلى الشبكة العامة عقب إجراء تشغيل تجريبي لها، لافتا إلى أن تركيب هذه المولدات سيقلل من فترة الانقطاع التيار الكهرباء عن المنازل بنسبة 50%..  وشكر دحة جهود الهلال اأحمر الإماراتي في تعزيز قطاع الكهرباء في المحافظة وتحسين الخدمات المقدمة للمواطنين، مؤكداً أن الجهود متواصلة من أجل تطبيع الأوضاع وإعادة الحياة إلى أبين التي عاشت سنوات من الحرمان من الخدمات الأساسية، وعلى رأسها الكهرباء. وعبر مواطنون عن شكرهم للجهود الحثيثة التي تبذلها دولة الإمارات في توفير الخدمات للمحافظة التي عانت الكثير خلال سنوات الحرب الطويلة التي عاشتها جميع محافظات أبين ، وأسهمت في تدمير جميع المنشأت الحيوية ومنها الكهرباء .
